If you are a foodie like me, you know there is nothing like the combination of your two favorite foods.
Mine happen to be sushi and burritos. Now – would I have ever guessed that the combination of the two was ever possible? No – not until I stumbled upon the site sushirrito.com
Sushirrito.
The name was so clever and just scrolling through the site itself made my mouth water – try it – I guarantee the same effect.
Reading through the description of one of the sushirritos, I knew this was a MUST try:
Sumo Crunch: Surimi Crab, Shaved Cabbage, Cucumber, Avocado, Green Onions, Red Tempura Flakes – Sauce: Sriracha Aioli
The place is located in San Francisco and unless you work in the City – good luck getting to taste this magnificent creation – it’s only open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.! A testament that business is so good, they don’t need to open full days or weekends.
Lucky for me I was at a client event a few weeks ago in the City, and I was able to seize the opportunity to head over to this hidden gem for lunch.
Assessment – sublime.
Who needs tortillas when your burrito is wrapped in seaweed?
Anyway, the experience got me thinking—delicious combinations are not just limited to food. In a way, public relations is a delightful fusion in and of itself.
Today especially, PR blends the best of traditional media relations with the fast-paced and ever-changing environment of social media.
The result: an established, yet exotic industry that is equally quite tasty.
I’ve got to say, I’m pretty lucky to be surrounded by such tantalizing mixtures in my life.
Try Sushiritto for yourself. I guarantee you’ll be glad that you did.
